MySudo VPN currently supports these protocols:
-
IPsec [Supported on Apple iOS]
-
IPsec (IKEv2) [Supported on Apple iOS]
-
WireGuard [Supported on Google Android]
-
OpenVPN TCP [Supported on Google Android]
-
OpenVPN UDP [Supported on Google Android]
On iOS, MySudo VPN defaults to IPSec (IKEv2) which offers better speed and reliability over IPSec.
On Android, MySudo VPN defaults to WireGuard but offers OpenVPN using TCP and UDP as an alternative. OpenVPN UDP typically offers better performance than OpenVPN TCP.
If you are unsure of which protocol to choose, we recommend using the default protocol, which offers security, speed and reliability for that specific platform.
