Backing up your MySudo VPN account is essential because it is the only way you can recover your account if your device is lost, damaged or replaced.
MySudo VPN uses security keys stored on your device to authenticate you to our service and let you use your account. So, to use your account on a new device, you’ll need a copy of these keys on that device.
Here are your options:
-
MySudo Import/Export via QR Scan Code:
If you have a second device (Android or iOS), use the MySudo Import/Export via QR Scan Code feature in the MySudo VPN in-app settings to transfer/copy your MySudo VPN account from your first device to your second.
If you lose or damage one of your devices, transfer/restore your MySudo VPN account from your remaining device to a new device using the same import/export feature.
2. If you have MySudo VPN and the MySudo app on your device:
-
This method only applies if you also use the MySudo app as they share the same security keys on the device.
-
