How long do you store my personal credit or debit card information?

We store your credit or debit card details in a secure tokenized* form in the Sudo Platform. This allows us to charge your funding credit or debit card when you make purchases with your MySudo virtual cards, without us needing access to your credit or debit card number, expiry and CVV.

We store the secure tokenized* form of your funding credit or debit card in the Sudo Platform as long as you maintain the credit or debit card as a funding source. We use industry best practice to securely store this token.

The service provider that we use to process virtual card payments retains information about your funding credit or debit card as part of the transaction. This information includes the last 4 digits of the credit or debit card number, the billing address, and expiration date.

*Tokenization is the process of replacing sensitive data with unique identification symbols that retain all the essential information about the data without compromising its security.
