Only users on a paid plan can create and use MySudo virtual cards. If you are on SudoFree plan, you be required to upgrade to a paid plan to use virtual cards.
When you tap on the virtual cards icon in the app, you will have a step-by-step guide to get you setup with your virtual card.
Here is a breakdown of the process:
Identity Verification

Enter your legal identity information into the required fields - Why?

If your information is verified, you can proceed to adding your funding source information

If your information could not be verified, you will see the error screen asking you to try again.

This process is only completed once on your device and will not need to be repeated for each virtual card creation.
Funding Source Verification
- Before you can create your virtual card, you will need to add a credit card you’d like to use to fund your virtual card purchases - Why?

If your funding source is verified, you can proceed to creating your virtual card

If your funding source could not be verified, you will see the error screen asking you to try again.

This process is only completed once on your device and will not need to be repeated for each virtual card creation.

Please Note: If you delete this funding source from Settings, your associated virtual cards will no longer work.
Creating your Virtual Card:

Label: How you will use your virtual card (shopping, subscriptions, bills, etc)

Cardholder Name: Use your Sudo profile name if you’d like!

Billing Address: Enter an address that will be recorded as the billing address of the virtual card. This billing address can be any address, however it should be a real address. More details here.

Your shipping address at checkout on the merchant’s site will need to be a real physical address to receive your package.

Your new virtual card is now ready to use! 👍
