Please note: You will only be required to provide legal identity information if you enable the virtual cards feature in MySudo. If you do not enable virtual cards you will not be required to provide any legal identity information to use all other features of MySudo (messaging, calling, email, browsing etc).
In order to comply with US government regulations to limit the risk of fraud, money laundering and funding of terrorist activities, eligible users who enable the MySudo virtual cards feature will be required to provide their accurate and up-to-date legal identity information. We will verify the information you provide with a third-party identity verification provider before you are able to use the virtual cards capability. At a minimum, you will be asked to provide your first name, last name, street address, postal code and date of birth. In some cases, additional information may be required, namely images of a government issued identification document, such as a government issued driver’s license.
The legal identity information you provide will be retained in the Sudo Platform for your time using MySudo, plus an additional five years following your use of MySudo to meet regulatory and compliance requirements. The third-party identity verification provider used to verify the legal identity information provided, stores this data for 15 days.
We use industry standard measures to securely protect this data, including limiting access to the data to only those people and systems with a strict business need and secure encryption of this data always when stored in the Sudo Platform.
You must be over 21 years old to use virtual cards.
