Why am I having trouble registering my debit or credit card as a funding source?

Here are some things to check:

• Is the information you entered for your debit or credit correct?

• Are you using a prepaid card? We do not support prepaid cards as a funding source.

• Is your debit or credit card associated with your verified identity?

• Is your card issued by a US bank?

• Are you trying to use a user-to-user payment system such as PayPal, Venmo, Western Union, etc. as your funding source? We do not accept these systems. We also do not accept credit and debit cards issued by PayPal and similar companies.

• Are you connecting from an IP address your bank doesn't recognize? If you are using a VPN, we suggest you use a different egress location or disconnect the VPN while you add your funding source.
