I only just added a funding source, so why is there a pending transaction on my account?

When you add a debit or credit card as your funding source for the first time, we will attempt to authorize a micro transaction.

You will see a pending transaction of an amount between $0.50 and $1.00 on your funding source card, with a description of "MYSUDO *VALIDATION".

We never actually complete this transaction (we don’t charge the amount) and it will expire after 3 to 5 business days.
