Being private doesn’t mean not being social. To get the full benefit of the all-in-one privacy app MySudo, you need to be able to connect privately and securely with family, friends, colleagues and other people you know who are using the app.
When you opt in to private contact matching, you share your device contacts with us and get matched with people you know who are also using MySudo (and want to be found). You’ll get a notification and the person’s Sudo details, attached to their contact details in your device contacts list. You can then start a conversation with that person in MySudo, safe in the knowledge all Sudo-to-Sudo calls, messages and email are end-to-end encrypted.
On the flipside, so other people can match with you, you can opt to make yourself discoverable. This means when people you already know – your friends, family, and colleagues – opt in to private contact matching and share their device contacts with us, we will find you and share your chosen Sudo details with them.
All sharing is done by cryptographically hashing the numbers using SHA 512 algorithm prior to upload. See here for more details.
