Lost pin but uninstalling app on IOS doesn't allow to reset

I have forgotten my PIN so I thought I would simply uninstall and reinstall the app to start over.

Unfortunately, after reinstalling, it still asks me for my forgotten PIN.

I have searched far and wide for a solution to actually wipe the app data on IOS but it somehow doesn't see possible.

What to do??
