MySudo Needs a De-Googled Variant

I imagine many MySudo users are privacy & security geeks, and are thus more likely to use privacy-focused ROMs, which often don't use Google services. This presents a major compatibility issue, as calls won't ring, new messages won't generate notifications, ect.
It has been requested many times that a variant of the MySudo app be created for custom ROMs such as GrapheneOS. People have been asking for years for a de-googled version to be developed, and yet no headway has been made in that regard. Without a de-googled app, many potential users are alienated, and end up choosing a different provider. MySudo is definitely among the best and most user-friendly VoIP providers, and many people in the custom ROM space would love to use the service.
I've seen the suggestions from the support team on how to get the app working on certain ROMs, but no solution exists for full-feature compatibility without Google Play services. There are many posts on Reddit, forums, and on this site asking for exactly that, and it could open up a door for an entire community.
What are your thoughts?

I definitely would like to pay through the mysudo app instead of via ios and or google, companies who track your every move. There also has to be a better way to back the app up without having to do so via those companies.
I have a degoogled phone but in order to pay for and back up an app I use to privatize my phone communication, I HAVE to do it via apple or google, companies I don’t want in my business.
I love the app but hate that part.
