How do you change your recovery password?

I looked all throughout the settings on my phone and I can’t find out how to change the password. This should be a very easy thing to do.

  To change your backup/recovery password:

  • Tap the menu in the top left
  • Tap Settings
  • Scroll down and tap Backup & Import
  • Tap on Set Recovery Password
  • Tap on Change Recovery Password

  After you change your recovery password, ensure you create a new backup of your device.
