Why not just invite your friends to MySudo and do groups chats with MySudo?  That way all the comms is totally encypted and secure?  I have my whole extended family on MySudo for this exact purpose.  Groups chats using the telco's is totally not secure...

This would be a game changer. I think the most annoying part is when people start responding to the group message and you end up with several messaging threads with no idea what's happening in the conversation because it is a pain to find the correct order of messages and then you have no way of responding to all of them.

@cool_dude - That would, indeed, be the ideal solution.  But I (and I'd imagine many others) have numerous contacts who flat refuse to use any alternative messaging platform outside of the usual privacy destroying ones such as FB, WhatsApp, and the default SMS provided by their cell carrier.

I continue to push alternative messaging platforms such as MySudo, Wire, Wickr, Signal, etc, but so far the resistance has been incredible.

So, while I continue to beat the proverbial dead horse, I'd like to be able to use the modern day standards such as group messaging.

I'm patiently waiting for MySudo to get this feature up and running.

Hey Ad Min, I totally hear you it is not easy.  I just persisted with my family / friends to the point where I would not respond to them unless it was via an encypted channel....after I didnt show up to a few events they eventually installed MySudo and are now sold on it and I have a bunch of group chats going with various members of the family etc .....I also sent them a bunch of news links along the way on identity theft etc and that also helped get them over the line 😁

    Good luck

Is there any plan to implement this feature, and a timeline? I have a group text at work and so I cannot convince everyone else in the group to use MySudo. I am considering switching away from MySudo due to this and needing short code (including for 2FA from providers that do not allow a yubikey or software token).
