Navigation flow when opening a link in an email or message

I love the new browser feature but I did notice one navigation flow that didn't feel very intuitive.
When I tap on a link in an email or a message, the link opens in the browser but it isn't always clear how to navigate back to what I was previously viewing. I would expect that it would present the browser modally then allow me to dismiss it to continue what I was previously doing. Instead, it navigates me to the browser tab and I have to tab back to where I was.
Typically, when I receive a link, I want to open it to view the content but I'm unlike to view much more than the original content. Having a way to quickly dismiss and return to where I was outweighs having a full browser experience, in my opinion.
