Implement RCS to Replace SMS

Rich Communication Services (RCS) is the next-generation messaging standard designed to gradually supplant SMS. Unlike the dated 160‑character limit of SMS and its lack of media or interactive features, RCS brings a wealth of modern capabilities; like high‑resolution photo and video sharing, live typing indicators, read receipts, richer group and chat controls.

To bolster the security of MySudo consider integrating a contact‑verification system. This feature verifies the identity of your correspondent, ensuring you're truly communicating with the intended person. If someone attempts to impersonate a trusted contact, you'll receive an immediate alert.

  We are exploring the benefits of RCS and how that might fit into MySudo, however still in the early stages of this journey.

  We have not explored Advanced Contact Verification, however I will pass on to Product Management.
