MySudo Desktop for Linux
Anyone seriously interested in protecting their privacy *will* end up using Linux at some point, therefore it makes sense to create MySudo Desktop for Linux.
Are there any plans in the pipeline for such a release?
FYI, the issue with privacy on Windows is that Recall takes screen snapshots every 5 seconds and Copilot then consumes them to profile the user.
On iPhone, researchers from Secure Mobile Networking Lab at the University of Darmstadt demonstrated that iPhones (when switched off) are still active and able to send and receive data. This functionality is used for 'Find My Phone' tracking, but can be used to hack phones even when switched off. It's therefore an open question, if Mac OS provides similar 'features' that risk privacy and security. Additionally, the end goal of Apple Intelligence is currently unknown.
It's counter-intuitive for Anonyome to not support Linux, when privacy and anonymity is at the core of its business proposition.

I agree. Many interested in MySudo are or will also be Linux users by the nature of privacy. The lack of a linux desktop app has prevented me from recommending MySudo to a number of people.
I used Google Voice for a long time. Back in the day, it was great to be traveling and call home "locally". And it was great to be able to manage text messages from my computer. I've still never found as convenient a replacement... mySudo is getting closer though!
I have generally liked Windows (despite all its problems); however, the privacy risks have become too significant now with AI and the potential for screenshots, etc (even with some settings off - takes some serious disentanglement to prevent "all" telemetry), so I switched to Linux (Fedora) a year ago. Waiting hopefully for the Linux version of MySudo! :-)1 -

TLDR: I just switched to Linux because Windows 10 security support has ended. I would use MySudo Desktop on Linux.
The whole story:
With Windows 10 security updates ending, it's finally time for me to make the jump to Linux, since even though my system is high functioning, it can't be upgraded to Windows 11 without buying additional hardware to make it compatible. This inspired me to ditch Microsoft and its prying, spying OS—and now AI. I want to make my Linux switch complete with MySudo Desktop, please and thank you.

I agree with both of these comments. But I also think it is incredibly ironic to use the BASH command Sudo (The Linux command to "switch users") in your name and not support Linux Desktop. Seriously, get Linux.

Any feedback on this?? Linux was said to be on the roadmap years ago but not a peep recently. Linux desktop app is the glaring gap in the offerings.
