Has anyone tried or know if MissingSync or other app (Mac preferred) can work as a way to back up a mysudo account and actually work to restore? I'm not that keen on cloud; own your data. TIA

  I would also appreciate an alternate backup solution, like just creating an encrypted file I can back up with SyncThing.

  We are exploring alternative backup methods.  In the meantime many folks who dont want to use iCloud or iTunes, use a secondary device (iPad, phone) as backup via QR code transfer.  See How-do-I-access-my-MySudo-account-from-more-than-one-device-multi-device- . You can then use the app from multiple devices as well. 👍
