Not able to verify an account because sudo uses voip numbers

I'm being asked to verify an account with a valid phone number but the system will not recognize my sudo number as a valid cell number it only states it can't verify a voip number. how do I get around this or can I?

  I have the same problem, the FAQ article basically took me to "you can't use your mysudo number for verification at this time". I *cannot* use my regular cell number to validate for personal safety reasons, and specifically paid for mysudo in order to do this.

  Some web services do not accept VOIP numbers, however the majority do.  If the suggestions in this FAQ article dont work, you could try using a different Sudo number to see if that works for you.

  So in essence, keep paying you $1 a shot in the hope that I'll get a number that works? My preference would be to get what I paid for in the first place.
