Default settings for starting out with MySudo are zero knowledge, where all data that flows within the app is encrypted and where attribution to a user’s personally identifiable information (PII) is impossible for many and obfuscated for most.
Users of MySudo are never required to provide the following information when they install and initially set up MySudo:
-
Name
-
Username (or the creation thereof)
-
Password (or the creation thereof)
-
Credit card number
-
Date of birth
-
Mobile phone number
-
Existing email address.
Some MySudo capabilities, such as virtual cards and obtaining a UK phone number, have a regulatory requirement that we collect and verify your legal identity before you can use those capabilities. We only ask you to provide your legal identity information if you choose to use those capabilities. You can use other MySudo capabilities without providing your legal identity information.
Once a user purchases a subscription and chooses to add a phone number to their Sudo, they may select an available phone number based on a location they enter or their current location. If the user allows the use of their current location, we only use it to search for available phone numbers near their current location and do not store it in MySudo or Sudo Platform.
