Are any analytics performed on MySudo?

Anonyome Labs uses app analytics to understand how users use MySudo and Sudo Platform, so we can improve our services. We apply data minimization principles to limit which app events are collected along with which data elements are contained within those events. For example, app analytics events contain no location information—IP address or geographical representation. Analytics data that is collected is de-identified through techniques such as tokenization, hashing and redaction. These techniques allow analysis for app analytics purposes without requiring the original data to be available to the analytics system.

*Tokenization is the process of replacing sensitive data with alternate identification symbols that retain analytical properties of the original data without compromising the security of the original data.

*Hashing is a cryptographic technique that allows a person to easily verify that some input data maps to a given hash value, but if the input data is unknown, it is deliberately difficult to reconstruct it (or equivalent alternatives) by knowing the stored hash value. This is used for assuring integrity of transmitted data without revealing the actual contents of that data.

*Redaction is a data transformation technique that reduces the precision of the existing data by removing some elements of the original data. For example, a phone number might be redacted to retain only the country code and area code. Another example would be to redact a location from GPS coordinates to a city/state/country.
