Where is the data stored?

Data visible in a MySudo app instance on your mobile device is stored on the device, so that it can be displayed to you. This includes:

• Sudo profile information (Sudo name, image/icon, contacts, notes)

• Sudo activity data information (email, Sudo-to-Sudo messages, Sudo-to-nonSudo messages).

This data remains on the user’s device until the user deletes it. For example, when a MySudo user deletes an email message, the message is removed from the device at that time.

Sudo Platform currently stores all data in the United States on a selection of commercial-grade cloud providers. MySudo data is encrypted so that it can only be decrypted by your private key on your device. Those private keys are never transmitted or stored in Sudo Platform.
