MySudo VPN gives you control over how your internet traffic is routed and how the VPN behaves on your device. These settings help maximize your privacy and security:
On Demand (iOS) / Always-on (Android)
iOS “On Demand”: iOS will automatically start MySudo VPN whenever an app tries to make a network connection. If your connection drops or your internet goes offline, the VPN will attempt to reconnect when service resumes.
Android “Always-on”: Keeps the VPN connected at all times and notifies you of your connection status. Only one VPN can be designated as “Always-on” at a time. After restarting your device, you may need to reconnect manually if a notification appears.
Disabling “On Demand” or “Always-on” means your VPN will not connect automatically when your device starts or the network changes. Internet traffic will go directly through your ISP until you manually connect in the app.
Block Connections Without VPN (Android 8+)
Enabling this setting ensures all internet traffic is routed through MySudo VPN. If the VPN is not connected, your device will not have internet access.
Device Access to VPN Information
While your operating system may detect that a VPN profile is installed, Apple and Google do not have access to your VPN credentials or the websites you visit using MySudo VPN. Your activity remains private.
