If your notifications aren’t behaving as expected, try these standard troubleshooting steps. If the issue persists, contact our Support Team via the in-app Help menu.
Device Notification Settings
iOS: Settings → MySudo → Notifications → Allow Notifications
Android: Settings → Apps → MySudo → Notifications → Show Notifications
VPN Check
Some VPNs may route traffic through regions we don’t support.
Try disconnecting the VPN, closing MySudo completely, and reopening the app.
If you need to use a VPN, try switching servers or protocols (WireGuard/IPSec vs OpenVPN).
Time/Date Settings
-
Ensure your device is set to automatic time/date.
iOS: Settings → General → Date & Time → Set Automatically
Android: Settings → System → Date & Time → Automatic
Do Not Disturb
-
Make sure Do Not Disturb is turned off.
iOS: Settings → Focus → Do Not Disturb
Android: Settings → Sound & Vibration → Do Not Disturb
Airplane Mode
Ensure Airplane Mode is disabled.
Camera & Microphone Access
-
MySudo requires access for calls and messages.
iOS: Settings → MySudo → Enable Camera & Microphone
Android: Settings → Apps → MySudo → Permissions
In-App Notification Settings
Go to the Sudo icon → Settings icon → Sudo preferences → Sudo profile → Notifications.
Make sure all relevant notification types are enabled.
Unread Notification Overflow (Android)
Some devices stop showing notifications if there are too many unread items.
-
Clear unread notifications: Tap the Bell icon → Clear All.
