If you can’t unlock MySudo Password, the issue is usually related to your vault password or biometric unlock.
Forgot your vault password?
Your vault password is used to unlock your vault. MySudo Password does not store or have access to your vault password.
If you:
Remember your vault password → use it to unlock your vault.
Have biometric unlock enabled → use Face ID or fingerprint to unlock the app.
Do not remember your vault password and do not have biometric unlock enabled → you will need to reset your vault.
Lost your secret code?
Your secret code is used when setting up MySudo Password on a new device or browser.
If you have MySudo Password signed in on any existing device, you can find the Secret Code in the Settings menu:
On iOS & Android: Open Settings → Rescue Kit.
On browser extension: Open […] (top right) → Settings → Rescue Kit.
If you lose your secret code you will not be able to add a new device or browser without resetting your vault.
Need to reset your vault?
If you cannot access your vault and have no way to recover your credentials, you will need to reset your MySudo Password Manager vault. More info
