When MySudo VPN is connected, your device’s IP address should match the VPN server location you selected. To check your current IP location, visit an IP geolocation website such as whatismyipaddress.com.
If the website shows a location different from your selected VPN server, there are two common reasons:
Another VPN connection is active: Some devices allow only one active VPN at a time, but it’s possible another VPN app is connected. Check your device’s network or VPN settings to confirm which VPN is in use.
IP lookup inaccuracies: IP geolocation websites rely on external databases that may be outdated or imprecise, resulting in an incorrect location display.
Your VPN connection itself is still active and protecting your traffic, even if the geolocation website shows a different location.
