Speed and Website Access
While MySudo VPN itself does not limit your internet speed or bandwidth, using a VPN may impact performance depending on several factors:
Physical proximity of the VPN server
Server load at the time of connection
Your original internet speed
The VPN protocol in use
To determine whether MySudo VPN is affecting your speed, check your connection while the VPN is connected and then disconnected. For optimal speed, select Fastest Available as your server location.
Some Websites Are Unreachable
If you cannot access certain websites while connected to MySudo VPN, try the following:
Connect to a different VPN server location — some websites restrict access from certain regions.
Change the VPN protocol in the app settings (iOS or Android). See the FAQ “Which protocol should I choose?”
Clear your browser cache while connected to the VPN.
Check antivirus or firewall settings and add exceptions for MySudo VPN.
Restart your device if MySudo VPN was just installed.
Google Services Lockout
When using Google services with a VPN, you may occasionally see error messages such as:
“We’re sorry, but your computer or network may be sending automated queries…”
“Our system has detected unusual traffic from your computer network.”
These messages occur when Google detects multiple users sharing the same VPN IP address, mistaking it for automated or suspicious activity. Lockouts typically last around 12 hours.
To resolve this:
Use the MySudo browser with DuckDuckGo as your default search engine.
Solve the reCAPTCHA to prove you are human.
Reconnect to the VPN server to receive a new IP address, or try a different server if the issue persists.
Contact MySudo Support if you need further assistance.
