At this time, KYC (Know Your Customer) only applies to MySudo UK phone numbers.
This information is not needed to obtain or retain a Canadian or US phone number in MySudo.
Please Note: You will only need to go through this process once; if you obtain additional UK numbers, you will not be required to verify again.
In order to comply with UK telecommunications regulations to limit the risk of fraud, users are required to provide their accurate and up-to-date legal identity information before they can obtain UK phone numbers. These new measures are being enforced on MySudo by our telecommunications service provider.
Existing UK number holders will also need to go through this identify verification process before January 1st, 2025 in order to retain service of their UK numbers. Existing UK number holders should have received an email with instructions on this process. Alternatively please contact support via support@mysudo.com for instructions.
When obtaining a UK phone number for the first time, the verification process will be triggered automatically in MySudo and our telecommunications provider will verify the identity information you provide.
We will ask you to provide your first name, last name, address including country, date of birth, email address, non-MySudo phone number and images of your government-issued identification document such as a government-issued driver's license.
You must not provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
You must not provide personal information of another person.
The personal information you provide will be retained by our telecommunications service provider for your time using MySudo, plus an additional 30 days following the processing of your MySudo account deletion request.
