Why Personal Information Is Required for UK Numbers

Currently, Know Your Customer (KYC) verification only applies to UK phone numbers and only needs to be completed once.
This process is not required for Canadian or US numbers.

In order to comply with UK telecommunications regulations to limit the risk of fraud, users are required to provide their accurate and up-to-date legal identity information before they can obtain UK phone numbers.  These new measures are being enforced on MySudo by our telecommunications service provider. 

For New UK Numbers

When you create a UK number, the verification process will start automatically in the app. Our provider will verify the identity details you submit.
 

For Existing UK Numbers

If you already have a UK number, your number will become inactive unless you complete verification.

Please contact Support from your in-app Help settings to complete this process. 
 

What You’ll Need to Provide

• Full legal name

• Address (including country)

• Date of birth

• Email address

• Non-MySudo phone number

• Images of a government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license)
   

Important:

• Do not provide false, inaccurate, misleading, or someone else’s information.

• Your data will be stored by our telecom service provider while you use MySudo and for 30 days after you request account deletion.
