MySudo Password gives you control over security features that help protect your vault.
Back up your account
Back up your MySudo Password account to make sure you can access your vault if you lose access to your device.
Your vault password protects access to your vault, but it cannot restore your vault if your data is stored only on a device that is lost, damaged, or unavailable.
Make sure your account is backed up and keep your recovery information stored securely. A backup allows you to restore your vault when setting up MySudo Password on a new device.
Enable biometric unlock
Biometric unlock lets you access MySudo Password using Face ID or fingerprint instead of entering your vault password each time.
To enable biometric unlock:
Sign in using your vault password.
Open Settings → select Enable biometric ID.
Confirm your vault password.
If biometric authentication is unavailable, you can always unlock your vault with your vault password.
Lock your vault
You can immediately lock your vault from Settings. Once locked, you’ll need your vault password or biometric ID to unlock it again.
If you lose your vault password or secret code
Your vault password and secret code protect access to your vault.
If you forget your vault password and do not have biometric unlock enabled, your vault cannot be recovered.
If you lose your secret code, you cannot add new devices or reinstall MySudo Password without resetting your vault.
Resetting your vault permanently deletes all stored data.
Keep your vault password, secret code, and rescue kit stored securely.
