Messaging Non-MySudo Users

MySudo also lets you send messages to people who don’t have a MySudo account - these are considered out-of-network messages, or “Sudo-to-NonSudo.”

Key Points

• Not End-to-End Encrypted: Messages sent to non-MySudo users leave the Sudo Platform and travel over standard networks. Because of this, these messages are less private than Sudo-to-Sudo messages.

• No Rich Features: Features like disappearing messages and message editing, are only available between MySudo users. Messages to non-users are standard text only.

• Subscription Limits: The number of messages you can send to non-MySudo users may depend on your subscription plan. Check your plan details in the app for your available messaging limits.

• Sudo-to-nonSudo messaging is Limited to select countries

• A phone number is required in order to message Non-MySudo users.

• Sudo-to-Sudo messaging does not require a phone number. You can message using a Sudo Handle or a Sudo phone number — it’s your choice.
