Managing Messages in MySudo

Take control of your Sudo-to-Sudo conversations with tools for editing, deleting, timed messages, and read receipts.

Edit or Delete a Sent Message

• Edit: Long-press the message → Edit → make changes → tap Send.

  • The edit updates on both devices.

• Delete: Long-press the message → Delete.

  • The message is removed from both devices.

Delete a Received Message

• Long-press the incoming message → Delete.

  • This removes the message only from your device; the sender still has a copy.

Send an Expiring / Timed Message

1. In a text conversation → Tap the Timer icon in the message bar.

2. Choose how long the message will be viewable.

3. Type your message or add media → Send.

• The countdown begins once the recipient opens the message.

Enable or Disable Read Receipts

1. Tap the Sudo profile icon in the top left corner.

2. Go to Settings → Messages → toggle Send Read Receipts on or off.

• When on, a time stamp appears under a message after it’s read.
