-
Select the Sudo you’ll use with this virtual card.
-
Tap on the virtual cards icon in the app to start the set-up process.
-
Enter your legal identity information in the required fields for the identity verification check.
If your information is verified, you can add your funding source in Step 4.
If your information could not be verified, check whether your information is free of spelling errors, your network connection is stable, and the information you have entered matches what’s on your government-issued IDs. If verification still doesn’t work, tap Contact Support and our Support team will help you.
You only need to complete this process once. If you have MySudo on more than one device, it’s covered by this one-time process.
Verifying your identity is a one-time regulatory requirement to confirm you’re eligible to use the virtual cards service. See here for more on our secure identity verification process to meet regulatory requirements. -
Once your information is verified, tap Create New Card. We’ll ask you to enter a funding source (credit or debit card) for your virtual card.
Transactions you make with your virtual card are charged to your credit or debit card. (Why do I need a funding source?)
If your funding source was verified, you can continue setting up your virtual card in Step 5.
If your funding source could not be verified, you will be asked to retry.
You only need to complete this process once on your device. You will not need to repeat this process for every virtual card you create. -
Add a label (e.g. shopping, bills etc.), a name (e.g. your Sudo name), and a billing address to complete your virtual card.
The billing address you enter will be recorded as the billing address of the virtual card. This billing address can be any address, but it must be a real address. See more details here.
Your shipping address at the checkout on the merchant’s site will need to be a real physical address where you can receive your package.
Your new virtual card is now ready to use!
See our and MySudo blog for lots of great information about virtual cards.
