Using a Virtual Card at Checkout
Enter your virtual card details (number, CVV, expiration, and deliverable billing address) like a standard card.
Merchants process the virtual card instead of your personal funding source, so they never see your real card information.
MySudo charges your funding source for the purchase amount plus a service fee.
You will see the virtual card transaction information under Transaction Details in the app.
If the charge to your funding source fails (no funds, expired, etc.), the purchase will be declined.
Viewing Transactions
Pending transactions: You will see a pending transaction in the MySudo app as soon as the merchant authorizes the virtual card.
Processing time: Transactions usually show as pending for 1–3 business days. Some merchants may not charge your card until your order ships, so the transaction may appear later.
What Appears on Your Funding Source
When using a debit or credit card as your funding source, your statement will show a charge labeled:
MySudo*Transaction
This protects your privacy by keeping the merchant and purchase details hidden.
