Step 1: Choose a Sudo
Select the Sudo you want to associate with your new virtual card.
Step 2: Start the Setup Process
In the MySudo app, tap the Virtual Cards section to begin.
Step 3: Verify Your Identity
To meet U.S. regulatory requirements, you must provide accurate, up-to-date legal identity information (name, residential address, date of birth).
In some cases, you may also need to upload a government-issued ID.
Verification is handled by a trusted third-party provider.
If your information can’t be verified, double-check for typos, ensure a stable network connection, and confirm that your details match your ID. If issues persist, tap Contact Support for help.
This is a one-time process per account. If you use MySudo on multiple devices, you won’t need to verify again.
Step 4: Add a Funding Source
Once your identity is verified, you’ll be prompted to add a debit or credit card as the funding source.
Your virtual card will draw funds directly from this account for each purchase.
If your funding source can’t be verified, you’ll be asked to retry.
Step 5: Create Your Virtual Card
After your funding source is verified, tap Create New Card and enter:
Label (e.g., “Shopping,” “Bills”)
Name (e.g., your Sudo name)
Billing Address – must be a valid, deliverable U.S. address.
At checkout, the merchant will validate that the billing address you provide matches the billing address stored on the card.
Your new virtual card is now ready to use online or by phone!
