How many funding sources can I have?
You can have one active funding source for all virtual cards on your MySudo account. All transactions from any of your virtual cards will be charged to this single source.
Accepted Funding Sources
We support all major U.S. credit and debit cards, provided:
The card has a U.S. billing address.
Purchases are made in U.S. dollars.
⚠️ Not accepted:
User-to-user payment systems such as PayPal, Venmo, or Western Union.
Credit or debit cards issued by PayPal or similar providers.
Prepaid cards are not supported.
Why does my bank’s web page appear during setup?
Some banks require an extra security step—such as Visa 3-D Secure or Mastercard SecureCode—to confirm it’s really you adding the card.
You may be asked to enter a code sent by SMS or phone call.
In low-risk situations, the process may complete without interaction.
Using a VPN can trigger these checks. If you encounter issues, try a different VPN exit location or temporarily disconnect the VPN.
Why is there a pending transaction after I add a funding source?
When you add a debit or credit card for the first time, MySudo attempts to authorize a small validation charge (typically $0.50–$1.00, labeled *MYSUDO VALIDATION).
This is not a real charge—it’s a temporary authorization.
The pending transaction will disappear within 3–5 business days.
