This article covers creating, changing, and managing your Sudo email addresses.
Email Format
Your email address is automatically generated from your Sudo profile name with the domain @sudomail.com.
- On SudoFree, each Sudo profile is assigned one email address and it cannot be changed
- On paid plans, email address changes are available within plan limits
Creating an Email Address
Tap the Sudo profile icon in the top left corner.
Select the Sudo profile you want to edit.
Tap More → tap View & edit details → Edit.
Tap the pencil icon next to the email address → Follow the prompts
Important: Changing an email address permanently deletes all email history associated with it. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
Notifications
You can set a unique email sound/tone for each Sudo profile:
Tap the Sudo profile icon in the top left corner.
Tap the Settings icon in the bottom left corner.
Tap Sudo Preferences → Select the Sudo profile.
Under Notifications › Email, tap Sound to preview and choose a tone.
Deletion & Expiration Rules
Deletion:
If a Sudo email address is deleted, it is permanently deleted from our servers and cannot be recovered or reused.
Email addresses cannot be deleted independently of a Sudo profile
Expiration: Your Sudo email address remains active as long as the Sudo profile is within your plan limits.
If your paid subscription is cancelled or expires, your account moves to SudoFree
SudoFree, email addresses cannot be changed
After 25 days, if you exceed your plan's limits, the most recently created Sudos (and their associated email addresses) are automatically deleted and cannot be recovered
